Christine Burkette is a national speaker, technology executive, and systems innovator specializing in artificial intelligence governance, digital infrastructure, sustainability, and workforce transformation. With a foundation in science and a career that began as a chemist for 19 years, she brings a rare ability to bridge scientific expertise with real-world technology and workforce solutions.

She transitioned into education as a Detroit public schools science and robotics teacher, rising through leadership roles from curriculum leader to Chief Information Officer (CIO) for Detroit Public Schools, where she led large-scale digital transformation and modernized learning environments across the district.

Christine later expanded into global enterprise leadership, leading workforce innovation initiatives for General Motors before being recruited as Director of Digital Equity for the City of Detroit. In less than two years, she launched certified tech hubs citywide in partnership with Comcast and United Way and developed one of the nation’s first Interactive GIS Digital Equity Dashboards, work that gained national recognition and earned her the Digital Equity Trailblazer Award and the 2024 Women in Technology Award, where she served as a keynote speaker.

As CEO of Promising Integrations Consulting Firm (PICF, Inc.), she leads enterprise-wide AI, cybersecurity, and digital infrastructure integration across organizations nationwide. She is also the founder of Michigan Youth STEM, Tech & Aeronautics (MYSTA), building K–12 workforce pipelines, and the visionary behind SCE Sustainable Industries and La’ Merde Designs, advancing circular sustainability and innovation.

Christine is the creator of the Burkette AI Governance Framework and the architect of CareLinkMI, a senior-focused digital platform, demonstrating her ability to design systems that connect technology, people, and outcomes at scale.
